White Sage Sticks
Uses: Aromatherapy, smudging, meditation, to purify and cleanse a space or other people. White sage in particular has been used for centuries to cleanse an area of negative energy. Additionally, it cleanses and purifies the air you breathe, destroying bacteria and fungus in the air.
How to use: The White Sage does not burn like some smudge sticks. Sometimes you must keep blowing on it for some time to keep it lit. Simply light the end and let the fire catch somewhat (like an incense stick), blow out the fire and waft the area to be cleansed with your hand, a feather or whatever you choose. You may have to keep blowing on it to keep it lit. When you are finished you may place it in a fire-resistant bowl of your choice. If you allow it to burn down completely, it could produce quite a bit of smoke. Be ready to grab that fire alarm. LOL I know I have had to many times. Or you can completely extinguish it by dipping it in a bowl of water. Once it dries out, it can be used again.
As with any burning device, use caution when lighting, using, and extinguishing.
